Hamilton from back of the grid to third!

Lewis Hamilton is one of the best Formula One drivers in history. With his record wins, it’s no doubt that this year he is again one of the favourites to win the championship.

This year’s Belgium Grand Prix again saw Hamilton at his best. After suffering from many time delays due to changes he had to make to his car, he started off back of the grid. For a driver to start back of the grid and actually make it above the top ten is a great feat but Hamilton not only did that but actually finished the race in third position.

Not only was Hamilton’s achievement due to his fantastic racing but also the fact that the safety car had to be called out meaning all the cars caught up with each other must have helped.

F1 is a sport that is often changing and that means that different racers have a chance to excel.
