Changes ahead for F1 Racing

Formula one is the most popular motor sport on television. The race is usually shown every other Sunday throughout the season, with practise on the Friday and qualifying on the Saturday. These races are held all over the world and formula one has been going since 1946.

Recently there has been some talks of big changes ahead for F1 and Bernie Ecclestone has called for the cars to be fitted with simpler, cheaper engines. This has not gone down well for some of the racing teams, such as Ferrari who have stated they will not just sit in a corner and not say anything if rules are brought in that they do not agree with.

Rules are often brought in for safety reasons which no one can really argue with, but when they are bought in for other reasons, it does tend to cause a bit of a heated debate between Formula 1 directors and the racing teams.
