Selling a second-hand car can be a bit of a nightmare. Firstly you need to get the car ready for sale and then you need to find places to advertise it. Ideally, you want to spend as little on advertising as possible. There are many places that you can advertise for free such as on social media sites like Facebook and websites like Gumtree or Shpock.
When advertising your car remember to include plenty of images and a detailed description. List when the MOT is due, the model it is, engine size and number of doors. You should also list some of the main assets such as air con and alloys if applicable. If there are bad points such as damage to bodywork or worn out tyres then it is best to mention these in the ad as people will just get annoyed if they turn up and discover faults that are obvious. They are also less likely to buy from you, worrying that you may not be being honest with them.
